HYUNDAI – Blue Link Program
The solution enabled Hyundai to launch its subscription program on schedule, supporting an initial base of approximately 300,000 subscribers and establishing the infrastructure needed to monetize its connected vehicle fleet over the long term.In partnership with technology integrator Minx, Congero implemented the subscription management platform for Hyundai’s Blue Link program — the connected telematics and maintenance service for Hyundai vehicles in the United States — in just 120 days.
Challenge
Hyundai, one of South Korea’s leading automotive manufacturers, was entering the U.S. market with Blue Link: a telematics system that monitors vehicle health, usage statistics, maintenance alerts, and navigation services. The business model offered three years of complimentary service to the vehicle buyer, followed by a paid subscription.
The critical challenge: Hyundai lacked a system capable of managing and tracking this subscription model at scale.
They needed a solution that could be built rapidly, integrated with existing systems, and launched on time to align with the vehicle’s commercial rollout.
Solution or technology
The solution architecture was built around three core components:
Trade Marketing Management
- Oracle BRM (Oracle Billing and Revenue Management): the backbone of the subscription and revenue management system, and Congero's primary area of expertise.
- Authorize.net payment gateway: integration with one of the leading U.S. payment processors for recurring billing and charge management.
- SIBO CRM (front-end): the customer-facing CRM platform managed by partner Minx for order capture and subscriber administration.
The implemented operational flow: the CRM receives the subscriber’s order, processes it, and passes it to Oracle BRM, which executes billing and collection through Authorize.net. Congero configured both the three-year complimentary trial and the full conversion flow to a paid subscription.

Results
Full implementation completed in 120 days, meeting Hyundai’s required timeline for the commercial launch of the Blue Link program.
Initial base of approximately 300,000 subscribers at the launch of the Blue Link program in the United States.
A fully operational platform enabling Hyundai to manage the complete subscriber lifecycle: activation, complimentary period, conversion to paid plan, and ongoing subscription management.
Congero’s prior telematics experience — including previous engagements with GM OnStar and major industry players such as Verizon Telematics — enabled an agile and reliable implementation within the defined timeframe.
Congero’s Role
Congero acted as the specialized revenue management technology partner, leading the configuration and implementation of Oracle BRM as the backbone of the Blue Link subscription system. Its responsibilities encompassed the setup of the complimentary trial period, the activation of the payment flow, integration with the Authorize.net gateway, and technical coordination with partner Minx for the front-end CRM connection. Congero’s existing expertise in telematics projects was a key factor in the project’s successful on-time delivery.
Impact
This engagement reinforces Congero’s positioning as a reference partner in the connected telematics industry. With a track record spanning GM OnStar, Verizon Telematics, Hyundai Blue Link, and other major players in the sector, Congero has been present at the foundational moments of telematics in North America. Today, with Embrix — its next-generation, cloud-native platform — Congero can replicate implementations of this scope in a matter of weeks, offering telematics and IoT companies a faster, more flexible path to connected service monetization.
